Training classes are held at Ultratech's 14,000 square foot training facility on Zanker Road in San Jose, California. The Training Center includes nine classrooms with five labs.

Many customer classes are offered per year covering the complete range of process, operation, and support functions. Classes may also be conducted on-site at customers' facilities and training may be customized to fit specific needs. All training includes student pre- and post-test evaluations to ensure that information is being presented clearly and effectively.

In addition to providing customer training, the Corporate Training department creates all of its own instructional workbooks (operation and maintenance manuals). This group also provides a ten week certification training program for Ultratech Field Service and Manufacturing personnel.
